The purpose of KASA is to promote and expand the interest of Korean culture to the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), and to help establish an understanding of the diversity between both American and Korean cultures.

The Korean American Student Association (KASA) was established in 2008. The purpose of KASA is to promote and expand the interest of Korean culture to the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), and to help establish an understanding of the diversity between both American and Korean cultures. We serve the campus and Chicago community to participate in activism of Korean and Asian American issues, community involvement against negative stereotypes, and advocate against discrimination. Our goal is to promote the appreciation of diverse culture at UIC.
